October 11, 2020 The Little Free Library is a “take a book, share a book” free book exchange. Anyone may take a book or bring a book to share.
We are honored to unveil the first Little Free Library in Saline, Michigan (charter #109580). This has been a rewarding project for us. We hope kids will get a chance to use this library that’s open to everyone and learn more about STEAM education or things about nature. The books were carefully reviewed and selected so we hope they are fun to read and inspire a love of reading and learning.
We want to thank so many for helping us make this possible…starting with our donors for your support, the littlefreelibrary.org for the opportunity, our steward Terri Redding for maintaining this library, Ms. Rieck from charter #34200 for the LFL tshirts, the community for using it and most importantly to Dad for inspiring us to make a difference. This happened because of you and we’re so grateful for you, Dad.
It is our hope that this Little Free Library which was created in memory of Dad will bring a little joy, a little education, a little more connection, and a whole lot more books to the community. It’s our small way to leave a positive impact in this world.
